Welcome to BatteryVibe ("App"), developed and published by Sublanz ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring transparency about how data is handled when you use BatteryVibe: Emoji Battery on Android devices.

By downloading, installing, or using BatteryVibe, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect and Process

BatteryVibe operates primarily on-device with zero user account creation or login requirements. We do not collect your name, email address, contact list, phone number, physical location via GPS, or contents of your files.

A. Information Handled Strictly on Your Device (Local Storage)

• Battery Statistics & History: Battery levels, charging state, voltage, and device temperature are recorded locally in an on-device database (retained for up to 30 days) solely to render history charts in the Stats tab. This data never leaves your device.
• User Customizations & Preferences: Your selected emoji, custom sticker layouts, mood set configurations, alert preferences, and favorites are stored locally in app internal storage.
• Imported Images: Any stickers, GIFs, or pictures you import using the photo picker are cropped, processed, and stored exclusively on your device. We do not upload your media to any external servers.

B. Automatically Collected Technical Data via Third-Party SDKs

To monitor app health, deliver non-intrusive advertisements (for free users), and process in-app purchases, we integrate standard trusted SDKs:

• Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics): Anonymous usage events (e.g. sticker applied, mode changed, feature screen viewed) and device/OS metadata to help us understand feature adoption and enhance user experience. No personally identifiable information (PII) is included in event parameters.
• Crash & Diagnostic Data (Firebase Crashlytics): Crash logs, non-fatal application errors, device model, and operating system version to identify and resolve stability issues quickly.
• Purchases & Entitlements (RevenueCat & Google Play Billing): Anonymous app user IDs and purchase validation tokens to grant lifetime Pro access and restore purchases without requiring an account.
• Advertising Identifiers & Network Data (Google AdMob & UMP): For users of the free tier, Google Mobile Ads may collect device identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID) and coarse IP-derived approximate location to deliver relevant ads and enforce ad frequency caps. Users in the EEA/UK are prompted with a Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent dialog.

3. Device Permissions and How They Are Used

The app requests only permissions essential to its core functions:

• Accessibility Service: To display the status-bar sticker overlay and handle automatic hiding in fullscreen windows.
• Foreground Service (specialUse): To run the battery monitoring service, display ongoing battery notifications (when notification mode is chosen), record battery history, and trigger battery alerts.
• Post Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): To deliver battery alert notifications (low battery, full charge, high temperature) and display ongoing status icons.
• Run at Startup (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): To automatically restore your configured overlay or notification when your phone restarts.
• Ignore Battery Optimizations: To prevent the Android OEM background killer from unexpectedly terminating the status bar overlay or alert services.
• Vibration (VIBRATE): To vibrate the device during configured battery alert triggers.
• Wi-Fi & Network State: To fetch optional downloadable sticker packs, sync remote configuration, check network status for the custom status bar, and deliver ads/purchases.

Note: BatteryVibe explicitly blocks access to sensitive permissions including Camera, Microphone, Audio Recording, Contacts, Precise Location (GPS), Phone State (READ_PHONE_STATE), and Full Storage Scanning (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES).

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We partner with trusted third-party providers that adhere to high privacy standards:

• Google Play Services / AdMob / Firebase: Google Privacy & Terms
• RevenueCat: RevenueCat Privacy Policy

We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal data or usage data to third-party data brokers or marketing agencies.

5. Data Retention & Security

All communication with third-party service endpoints (Firebase, AdMob, RevenueCat) is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols. Because BatteryVibe does not maintain a remote user account database, we do not store your personal identity or passwords on our servers.

6. Children's Privacy

BatteryVibe is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly take appropriate action.

7. Your Rights and Data Choices

• Ad Privacy Choices: Users in eligible regions (e.g. EEA, UK) can review and update their advertising consent choices at any time from Settings → Ad privacy choices.
• Ad-Free Experience: Upgrading to BatteryVibe Pro completely disables all Google AdMob ad requests and advertising tracking.
• Resetting Data: You can completely clear all local application data, sticker imports, and battery history at any time by clearing the app data in your Android device's System Settings or uninstalling the app.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in app functionality, legal requirements, or Google Play policies. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated Effective Date.
